So this week, we had This kid over for dinner to celebrate his 18th
birthday!/graduation/mission! I can't believe he's old enough to be
graduated and going to the Barcelona, Spain mission in September!
For His birthday I made chocolate trifle! mmmm :) layers of brownies, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream! Heaven in a few bites!
When it got dark, our inner dragon came out!!
We made fire balls by taking a stick and tying denim to the end. We soaked the fabric in lamp oil, then lit it on fire. We rolled sheets of paper into little tubes, then scooped some corn starch or flour in the end. Then we just blew it on the torch, and voila! Breathing FIRE!!
Some tried lighting the paper first, then blowing. And some tried putting the corn starch and flour directly in the mouth and blew on the fire to make it seem more like your breathing fire! {note: if you try this at home, have a drink of water really close by. that stuff is nasty!}
