Morning Hike...with the dogs

This morning Dad, Zip, Sam dog, and I went on a hike!

This is Zip. He's not ours, but we take him on walks and hikes all the time!

This is me trying to get a picture of Sam the Dog. She does not like to get her picture taken. She'll be in the perfect pose and then when I try to get a picture of her, she moves or walks away. I swear it's on purpose!

She also thinks she can drive...

This is the peak we hiked to!

Along the hike we looked for animals, especially turkeys, but we only saw one deer. Those dogs were our "protectors" and scared everything away.

So we had to settle for flowers and bugs:

  

 

 



 

 We also encountered cactus



poor Zip got some stuck in his paw! But Master came to the rescue! :)

Dad's, Zip's, and my feet! Sammi doesn't have time to stick around long enough for a picture!

Here we are at the top of the peak!

and here's our beautiful view of the valley with the cool rain clouds!

Sammi loves her master :) only for a little bit though. Then she loves to wander around some more.

After a long hike and running everywhere their little noses could get to...

Zip and Sammi got tired.

They were very firsty

Zip, being the bigger and stronger one, took over.

Sammi: "but Master...! I'm YOUR dog! please let me drink some water! pretty please!"

finally she jumped and kicked Zip out of the way! "Hiy-YA!"

 

"Yes my turn!"

"mmm yum, thanks Master! Gruph gruph slobber, mmm"

"oh this is so delicious! slop. you're the best Master!"

"I love you forever master"

Zip: "Hey stop hogging the water!"

"Ahhh! so good!"

"Slop, lick"

"Thanks Master!"

With happy dogs in hand, or rather, running all over the place, we headed out.
