Thursday I made bread sticks to have with our spaghetti dinner! I love them! They are so delicious and I've practically memorized the recipe because I've made them so many time. Here's the recipe:
2 cups warm water
2 T. yeast
2 T. sugar
1/2 T. salt
4-5 flour
margarine/butter
Heat oven to 425°. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add sugar and salt. In a large mixing bowl mix the water
and flour together. Sprinkle flour on counter and knead
until it looks good. In oven, melt margarine/butter on pan.
Cut dough in half. Roll half of dough into a circle or rectangle.
Spread melted butter. Sprinkle garlic seasoning and Parmesan
cheese on dough. Fold dough in half over the butter and seasoning.
Use pizza cutter to slice dough. Twist and place on pan. Spread
dough with melted butter. Top with garlic seasoning and
Parmesan cheese. Bake for 15 + or - minutes until
golden color.
That's how I do it. you could also sprinkle them with salt, cinnamon, sugar, or just butter.
