This year, our family had a super bowl party! This was the FIRST TIME that we watched it. ever. Our family is not into sports. at all. We're more of a:
singing,
piano playing,
and reading sort of a family.
well, except for this little munchkin...who will do pretty much anything. collect bugs, play in the mud, play any sport, and beat up boys ;)
So, it was quite an adventure to watch an whole football game on tv. (We mainly watched the commercials! shhhh! but honestly. They were the most entertaining part!) Although, I'll admit that one player, on the Giants team? did have a pretty sweet catch! oh and when they accidently got a touch down because he fell into that touch down zone! that was pretty great too. (As you can tell, I know NOTHING about football!)
Anyway, a super bowl party can't exist without treats right? right! so we had lots of them! I made these little goodies:
Football Sugar cookies! (I got the football shape by using the pointed end of a heart cookie cutter.)
This year it was pretty fun to watch the super bowl. Maybe we'll do it again next year! We have to watch at least ONE football game a year...right? ;)

Lol--we never watch the Superbowl either. I know half of our more distant relatives would gasp if we told them that (football fanatics)! :) Which team were ya'll rooting for?
